There is at the moment a minor problem in references from these pages to articles in the Statewatch database. The Poptel Infosource system is set up to allow access to query results only after the query is run manually. So for a URL such as

(SW9401)
http://www.poptel.org.uk/cgi-bin/dbs2/statewatch?query=mi5+1994&mode=records&row_id=17197
you may see a blank screen when you follow the link. To overcome this, you must go to the Statewatch query screen and manually create and run the relevant query. So for the above case, if Statewatch gave you an empty screen you would;

1. Go to Poptel InfoSource - STATEWATCH.
2. type "mi5 & 1994" into the editbox, and press "Submit Query" button.
3. on the next screen "Poptel InfoSource - statewatch", click the "Show Record Titles" link. You must do this, because it won't run the query until you ask it to show titles.
4. Poptel will come back with a list of articles. You can now go back to the original reference on this site and it should work.
